C.S.E. 9-12 Information
The Complex Spatial Exam 9-12 is a 38-item test designed to assess spatial reasoning ability under timed conditions. The maximum time allowed to complete the test is 45 minutes. Each question has one correct answer and 8 multiple-choice options.
The Complex Spatial Exam 9-12 is a high-range spatial reasoning test calibrated on a high-ability sample, including individuals with verified high IQ scores (such as members of high-IQ societies including Mensa and the Triple Nine Society). It is intended primarily to measure variation in spatial cognition within above-average and gifted populations.
Score interpretation is based on an internal norming sample, and results are mapped onto an IQ-equivalent scale for comparative purposes. The score range extends up to an IQ-equivalent ceiling of 165.42. Normative data is provided in the table below.
The Complex Spatial Exam 9-12 was developed by Randy Myers.
