EQUAL Extended Quantitative, Universal & Analytical Logic

The EQUAL is a timed reasoning assessment designed to evaluate two complementary forms of cognitive ability: verbal analogical reasoning and numerical sequence reasoning. By combining these domains within a single assessment, the test requires examinees to recognize relationships, identify underlying rules, and apply logical principles across different forms of abstract information.

The verbal items require test-takers to determine the relationship between words or concepts and identify the option that completes an analogous relationship. The numerical items require the identification of underlying patterns, progressions, transformations, or mathematical relationships within sequences.

The test therefore requires flexible reasoning across both linguistic and quantitative information. Rather than relying exclusively on vocabulary or mathematical calculation, the EQUAL emphasizes the ability to discover relationships and infer rules from limited information while working under a fixed time constraint.

The EQUALEQUAL Extended Quantitative, Universal & Analytical Logic — is a new test. Only a raw score will be issued initially. After the norm is posted, an IQ score will be added to all prior submissions.
