HAVANA (Hierarchical Abstraction through Visual Analogy and Nonlinear Assessment) is a next-generation visual reasoning framework developed to measure advanced abstract thinking through hierarchical and nonlinear problem solving. The framework departs from traditional matrix reasoning by emphasizing the integration of multiple simultaneous cognitive systems rather than the identification of isolated transformation rules.

HAVANA employs progressively organized reasoning levels, requiring examinees to decode hidden representations, infer symbolic relationships, integrate recursive operators, resolve interacting constraints, and evaluate competing structural models. Higher levels introduce hybrid cognitive architectures in which multiple independent reasoning processes must be coordinated to generate a single coherent solution.

Designed as a high-range assessment of fluid intelligence, HAVANA targets hierarchical abstraction, adaptive reasoning, cognitive flexibility, and the construction of internal explanatory models. Its emphasis on nonlinear inference and multi-level structural integration provides a broader representation of complex reasoning than conventional visual matrix assessments.

High-range. Timed. Designed to challenge advanced abstract and fluid reasoning abilities.

This test consists of 20 items and is timed at 35 minutes.

HAVANA (Hierarchical Abstraction through Visual Analogy and Nonlinear Assessment) is a new test. Only a raw score will be issued. After the norm is posted, an IQ score will be added to all prior submissions.

After completing the HAVANA test and paying the scoring fee, you may request a complimentary composite IQ certificate. Please send your request to contact@iqt3st.com.
