L.E.V.E.L. - R Information

The Logical Evaluation of Visual Elements and Location – Revised (L.E.V.E.L.-R) is a 30-item high-range test designed to measure spatial and abstract reasoning ability.

The time limit for the test is 15 minutes. Each item has eight answer choices, with only one correct answer.

L.E.V.E.L.-R is intended for high-ability populations and provides scores within the upper range of the IQ distribution. The current norms are based on a preliminary high-range sample, including individuals from established high-IQ societies.

Norming Note (Preliminary High-Range Sample)

The highest observed raw score to date is 21 out of 30. Scores above this level are extrapolated and should be interpreted with caution. As additional high-scoring data becomes available, the upper range of the scale will be further refined and stabilized. The central range of the test (approximately raw scores 10–21) is considered the most reliable at this stage.

The norming data is provided in the table below. Test Developer: Randy Myers
