S.P.E. 6–12 Information

The Spatial Patterns Exam 6–12 (S.P.E. 6–12) is a 20-item assessment designed to measure spatial intelligence, including pattern recognition, and abstract visual reasoning. Test takers are allotted 15 minutes to complete the exam. Each item presents 6 answer choices, with only one correct answer.

The S.P.E. 6–12 provides estimated IQ scores (SD = 15), with current norms extending to approximately 163.5. Detailed score conversions and statistical indices are provided below.

Normative data is based on an initial sample (N = 17) and demonstrates strong internal consistency and high correlation with external measures. Ongoing data collection will further refine and stabilize the norms.

The Spatial Patterns Exam 6–12 was developed by Randy Myers.
