V.P.T. Information
The Visual Perception Test (VPT) is a 20-item instrument designed to assess spatial reasoning and visual-perceptual ability. The test imposes a strict time limit of 12 minutes. Each item contains one correct response among 8 alternative choices.
Within the current normative sample, observed raw scores range from 9 (minimum observed performance) to 17 (maximum observed performance). The VPT is calibrated to an extended psychometric scale with estimated IQ-equivalent scores ranging up to 158.1. Normative parameters are presented in the table below.
